E8IGHT had a joint research seminar with professor Asai and two researchers from Kyushu University to discuss further details about the research. The academic exchange seminar was held at Busan Paradise Hotel.
Professor Asai is nominated in the field of particle-based CFD and has been constantly having technical exchange with E8IGHT. Our vice-president, solution research team, and planning team had participated in this seminar to have an in-depth discussion for the development of our software.
After discussing about the strengths of particle-based and the upcoming plans for Kyushu University and E8IGHT the seminar began the academic exchange.
During the seminar we discussed about the boundary condition issues in CFD software field and matrix calculation and coupling ways of other CFD analysis. The seminar went on for more than three hours and has made a great academic exchange.
The seminar continued the next day and our programming development team leader attended the seminar as well to discuss about the GPU parallel computing.
On second day, discussions went on deeply on the topic regarding GPU parallel computing and visualization. A lot of questions and answers were made and through interactions we were able to move forward on our research.
