Road Construction in Gigye-Andong4 National Highway

In the virtual reality space, the problems and improvement measures to weak drainage sections are identified through particle-based 3D fluid simulation based on execution drawing data. In the execution drawing section in Saemangeum-Jeonju expressway, the sections considered to have weak drainage are selected and divided into 9 sections for simulation.

Road Construction in Gigye-Andong4 National Highway

During heavy rainfall, rainwater flows into the village from mountains in the work construction work site between Gigye-Andong4, which flows into the river via the main waterway. In this case, the fluency of drainage during heavy rain in 25 and 30 years was reviewed as the flow property by using particle-based 3D fluid simulation.

Analysis of Drainage Flow by Simulation on Execution Drawing of Saemangeum-Jeonju Expressway

In the virtual reality space, the problems and improvement measures to weak drainage sections are identified through particle-based 3D fluid simulation based on execution drawing data. In the execution drawing section in Saemangeum-Jeonju expressway, the sections considered to have weak drainage are selected and divided into 9 sections for simulation.

Particle-based 3D Fluid Simulation in Hamyang-Ulsan Expressway Construction Work Site

During the execution drawing of zone 9 of Hamyang-Ulsan Expressway, the tunnel entrance / exit and cross drainage were divided into 3 sections and analyze by using 3D fluid simulation for verification of the propriety of design based on the sluice data (rainfall intensity, run-off coefficient and travel time).

3D Fluid Simulation of Underpass in Detour of National Highway in Suwon-si

Following the rapid increase in damage in underpass of roads during torrential downpours due to unusual weather, using numerical analysis, the changes in water level and depth as the hydraulic characteristic factors in underpass in Suwon-si were verified, and the data of flow inside underpass were analyzed into data for utilization in predicting and setting measures to changes in flux, velocity and hazardous sections.

3D Fluid Simulation in Waterlogging Situation following Collapse of Unjeong Reservoir

Through the virtual simulation of collapse of Unjeong Reservoir, the travel time to downstream, and waterlogging scope were predicted and analyzed during the collapse of reservoir to check
the scope of damage in downstream and utilize as the base data for establishing advance responsive system.

3D Fluid Simulation on Execution drawing of Munbalje Reinforcement Work

Following the damage such as flooding of the embankment in part of the Munbalje section after localized torrential downpours, the flow attributes of the Munbalje section was comprehensively reviewed through numerical analysis. In order to reduce the flooding damage in Munbalje section in the downstream of Hangang River, which is a national river, the technological matters considering the dimensional functions of a river was simulated and reviewed to provide basic material for a reasonable and stable design.
